This plugin implements a File API allowing read/write access to the files in the folders within the application. I.e., each application has a sandbox and a set of folders accessible in that sandbox.

Functionality includes:

• List, create, and delete directories
• List, read, create, write, append, and delete files
• Copy and rename files / directories.
• Obtain URIs for files and directories

Note: This plugin does not provide root access.

Since version 2.0.0, the Plugin is compatible with both Cordova and Capacitor.
