Starting in version 6.0, this solution is installed with the Platform Server and will no longer be available as a standalone download.

This solution enables you to change the URL of a Web Reference, just by making a call to an action. Since this action will be called within your business logic, you can make this URL dynamic by calculating it at runtime.

You can also use this solution to set the user credentials that will be used to invoke the Web Reference. This allows you to use Web References that require basic or integrated authentication. By using this extension you can integrate with webservices that require SOAP headers. You can also add SOAP headers to exposed Web Services.

Feature List
  • Dynamically change the URL of a Web Reference
  • Invoke Web References that require basic authentication
  • Invoke Web References that require integrated authentication
  • Invoke Web References via a Proxy
  • Use of SOAP Headers (both on Web References and on exposed Web Services)

System Requirements and Limitations

Setting the URL or credentials of a Web Reference will only work during the current request.
In a Consumer and Producer scenario, if the there are different eSpaces using Web References with the same name you might get inconsistent behaviors in your application.
