What’s new (2.0.0)

Complete overhaul, focusing on working with disk-based ZIP files.

  • Renamed actions using noun-verb names (instead of the old verb-noun), also clearly indicating the difference between actions using memory as input or output, and those that use disk;
  • Described all actions and parameters in a consistent manner;
  • Removed action GetZipBinary to retrieve the ZIP archive binary (we're working with large, disk-based ZIP archives after all);
  • Added action FileGetPath to extract the contents of a file directly to disk (allowing for large files to be extracted without much memory overhead);
  • Expanded the number of attributes returned by ZipFileListGet (the old GetFiles), including compression ratio and various time stamps;
  • Removed the IsBig parameter in ZipCreate (the old CreateZip), ZipLoadMemory (the old LoadZip) and ZipLoadPath (the old LoadZipPath), big mode (i.e. disk-based mode) is now always used;
  • Replaced the WinZip icons with a new set;
  • Included the latest version of the Ionic.Zip library.

All of the above means there are many breaking changes with previous versions, so update carefully.
