This is the basic implementation of the Here Maps API. The only functionality that has been adde for now is the display of the map including one or more markers.

In the demo you can see how you can setup this basic functionality.

Release notes (1.2.1)

A refinement release on top of 1.2.0. Backward compatible.

Improved

  • Flexible height — both map blocks now take a CSS Height: a length (300px, 100%, 100vh) or empty to fit the parent's height, applied through a theme-overridable CSS variable. Matches the OutSystems Maps height contract. (Percentages need a parent with a fixed height, or the map is 0px.)
  • Static map sizes to its container — the image is now requested at the container's actual pixel size (crisp, fit-parent) and re-fits on resize (debounced), instead of a fixed resolution.

Notes

  • Map and static-map blocks run in the browser (a domain-restricted key works for both); geocoding runs server-side (separate, unrestricted key).
