Autocomplete box to put next to an Input field. Can be used to provide suggestions, as in the Google search bar.

This component allows to add an autocomplete box to any Input field.

The autocomplete box can show suggestions based on what is typed in the Input field.

This can be done lazily, with a search on the server, or client side if AutoFilter=true.

What’s new (1.1.0)
  •  Width of the selection list is now variable, with a maximum width equal to the input field it is linked to. Width is determined by the longest option to show.
  • Up and down keys can now be used to select a value
  • First value in the list is no longer automatically selected
  • If a scrollbar is present, using the keys up and down will now keep the focused element in view.
  • Pressing Enter no longer gives a error if no element selected
  • Pressing Enter selects the current object selected with the up and down keys
  • Optionlist updated when a value is selected. Before, the list would stay the same as the one before the selection
  • Fixed the issue where for the case of AutoFilter = True, the up and down keys would cycle to the next element in the complete list, not the filtered one.

Mostly built with OutSystems actions, kept JavaScript logic to the minimum.
