Read More

The SimpleViewer widget enables viewing files in a web application in a simple manner.

It is possible to view files by URL or by caching its contents through a tokenization process: basically, passing the binary data and file name to an Action (included) and providing the returned token back to the widget.

PDF files are embedded using PDFObject. For browsers that do not support displaying PDF natively, it is possible to render PDF files using PDF.js.

Currently, supported file extensions are:

  • PDF;
  • JPG/JPEG;
  • PNG/APNG;
  • GIF;
  • TIF/TIFF;
  • BMP;
  • SVG;
  • and ICO.
