Enables any element to be dragged by the user, and enables any container to be a droppable target. Adds the ability to sort lists and table rows.

  • No containers used - no changes needed to the page layout.
  • Full control over what Drag and Drop and Sort events are sent back to the server - minimum needed callbacks.
  • Supports contexts for Drag and Drop actions - control where an element can be dropped.
  • Supports tablet or mobile Touch Events.

JQuery Sortable support was added, based on the work of Justin James on his Drag-n-Drop Sortable List. Simplified the options and focused on a modular approach.
