This asset will cover all the use cases of dropdown search including cascading server-side dropdown, Adding one item to the database if not found in the dropdown search, adding optimized search on the server side, and many more scenarios.

This is a Dropdown Tag Widget, So I Have Created a sample in case you have to create a Cascading Dropdown with tags and you have to select the number of tags on the parent dropdown and you want to show the related result on the second dropdown.

This Asset will show how the cascading dropdown works .

The Hierarchical Dropdowns (HD Control) in OutSystems is a custom UI component designed to display hierarchical data (like countries and states) within a single dropdown. Instead of using multiple cascading dropdowns, this control allows nested data to be represented in one dropdown with indentation or grouping for clarity.
Upon selection, the full hierarchical path (e.g., "USA > California > Los Angeles") is displayed as the selected value, providing clear context to the user.

This asset provides a customized dropdown tag selector that enhances user experience by limiting the number of visible tags to three. When more than three tags are selected, the component intelligently displays an ellipsis ("...") to indicate additional hidden tags. This approach keeps the UI clean and avoids clutter, especially in scenarios where users may select multiple tags.
