Input Validation and Masking

*Client-side(Input) - It is a component that allows disabling/preventing characters from being typed through the keyboard from an informed RegEx pattern, or not, if not informed, the default regex will be used.

This asset allows end users the choice of entering either a percentage or an amount. The calculation of the other input field is then done automatically to aid in the user experience. Users can easily switch in real time between the two by using the ‘switch’ in the middle or simply clicking on the other field. For this conversion to work, an initial 'calculation amount' is required.

This mask provides a pattern of Portuguese Licence Plate.

The InputMask component applies input masks to text input fields using the popular Inputmask.js library. It supports multiple built-in mask types (phone, date, time, IP, currency, email) as well as custom mask patterns. The component returns the masked value, making it easy to integrate with OutSystems reactive apps for data entry validation and formatting.
