This component aims to provide a faster and more secure way of concealing information while holding its integrity tight. While Symmetric encryption is one of the fastest and easy ways of ciphering information, it poses the problem of how will the session key be shared among the parties. Although Asymmetric ciphering solves the previous problem, it is still very slow compared to its symmetric dual.
As such, the HPKE, Hybrid Public Key encryption is destined to be the best of both worlds combined.
