Download Json and RichMail and XmlRecords

Download Json and RichMail and XmlRecords

I am trying to reproduce some parts of another application (from version 7 and I have 6 - community edition), I see they use under Logic/References they have 3 items (each with a symbol with xif on it) called Json, Richmail, and XmlRecords.
I have been trying to download these but cannot find it online (outsystems stops me from merely copying and pasting, saying it is because it is a different version)
how do I get JSON and RichMail and XmlRecords

Hi there Kevin!

normally you can find this extensions in the Forge.

JSON:
http://www.outsystems.com/forge/268/json-xml-to-json-serializer-and-json-to-xml-deserializer/

XMLRecords:
http://www.outsystems.com/forge/153/XML+Records/changelog/ (note the authors note about last version that is in v7, so you need to download an older version in order to get it working on v6)

RichMail
Is bundled with the platform.

Then in order to use them you must go to the  Add/Remove References Window. This allows you to implement functionality in a single module and allow other modules to reuse the functionality.

Cheers,
Miguel

Hello,
I download them, I'm not sure how to then select them in Add/Remove References (I can't find them there),
Is there a special area I need to save them in.

Hi Kevin,

the extensions can be uploaded and published in Service Center, go to your Service Center by accessing http://<server_name/ip>/servicecenter, go to Factory, Extensions and there you an option to upload and publish the extensions you've downloaded.

Also, there's another way. You can open the extensions with Integration Studio, connect it to the server and 1-Click Publish the extension.

Cheers,
Miguel

Tried to upload JSON

 Intellectual Property Error
You are trying to Upload or Publish an Extension whose Intellectual Property is Protected, since it was created in a different Agile Platform Infrastructure than ''agile-dev-1''. To obtain the Intellectual Property Rights for using this Extension in ''agile-dev-1'' Infrastructure, please go to OutSystems' Intellectual Property Services at 'http://www.outsystems.com/ipp'.

Hi Kevin,

a bit of context, the Intellectual Property Protection (IPP) feature ensures that all applications deployed in your Agile Platform Infrastructure are protected and cannot be deployed in any other Infrastructure.

This means you can stage your applications through all the server environments within your Agile Platform Infrastructure, but you will not be able to stage them to server environments belonging to other Infrastructures.

If you need to stage your applications to environments outside your Agile Platform Infrastructure, you need to use the IP Rights Validation, found at http://www.outsystems.com/ipp.

I've removed IPP protection for you, take the attached file and try again to publish it on your server.

Cheers,
Miguel

Thank you, it is set up now,
also, as a note, you install xmlrecords by opening it through solution pack tool
Hi Kevin,

good to know!

And exactly, you can also publish the extension when bundled in a solution, by using the solution pack tool.

Cheers,
Miguel
