IPP issues

Hi,

I am unable to share an oml on the community forums

Error when publishing to a community edition
Intellectual Property Error
You are trying to Upload or Publish an eSpace whose Intellectual Property is Protected, since it was created in a different Agile Platform Infrastructure than ''localhost''. To obtain the Intellectual Property Rights for using this eSpace in ''localhost'' Infrastructure, please go to OutSystems' Intellectual Property Services at 'http://www.outsystems.com/ipp'.

These are the steps that I followed to remove the IPP

1) http://www.outsystems.com/ipp

2) entered e-mail address,
destination Activation code was mandatory, (got the activation code from  Administration->Licensing->Activation code )
    uploaded oml file

3) Received e-mail with oml attachment
The e-mail  content was as follows

my company is using
Enterprise 150
Development mode
Version 7.0.1.9

Thanks,
Charles.
Tried to set the destination activation code to 000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000
still not working
Try to leave the activation code field empty. It should work...

Cheers,
José Antunes
With the empty code field it doesn't work..
The error is the same.
Is this error related with the Platform version or this works for all the Platform versions?
Hi guys,

I've been talking with our team and it seems there is a bug that we are tracking. Hopefully, you'll be able to get rid of the IPP in the next couple of days. In the meanwhile, share your code with IPP and send me a PM with the link to the post, I'll get in touch with someone from OutSystems that will help you.

Sorry for the trouble and thank you for sharing your ideas =)

Looks like this is still broken?

Hi, i'm having same problems with the community edition and ipp.
I have the community edition with a few espaces published on it and i can´t even publish an existing version of an espace, it gives me the ipp error. What seems to be the problem? Any fix to this bug?
Any help would be apreciated
Hi Hugo,

Have you upgraded your Community Edition? Can you tell me in which version of the Community Edition you're working on? Did you already had those eSpaces on your Community Edition?

Sorry for all the questions, but we want to help as fast as we can =)

Cheers
Hi José,
yes i already had these espaces on the server, i just did some minimal changes and tried to publish, the Community edition version is 6.0.1.13. No, i did not upgrade the community edition.
Is there a work around for this?
Hi Hugo,

That's weird. Did you connect your ServiceStudio to another server or have you been using the Community Edition?

Cheers,
Hi,

I'm trying to clear the IPP from one of our eSpaces so that we can install it on a Community Edition but the IPP page states that the activation code 000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000 is invalid.
Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Pedro

000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000 is an old style community activation code.

You shoudl use your community's Activation Code instead of 000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000. You can get the license in http://www.outsystems.com/Community/license/

 Hi Ricardo,

That means that in this new style, the espace gets a new IPP, that is my community license. And then if I need to install that "no ipp" espace in another community edition (even same version), I'll need to pass it in IPP and provide that new activation code for that particular instance?

Thx

Hi Ricardo,

I've enter the serial number and version on that page and got a new license. After uploading the new license the activation code is exactly the same (000.000.....). I restarted the deployment controller and deployment service and it remains the same...

Suggestions?

Pedro

Help?
Hi Pedro,

Sorry for leaving you hanging. You caught the whole OutSystems team on a crazy week and unfortunately no one else can help with these IPP matters. :)
Since this is an Enterprise Edition -> Community Edition transition you need to contact support@outsystems.com directly for assistance.

Cheers,
Davide
