Agile Platform (JAVA stack) - logging as administrator?

After installing Agile Platform 8.0.0.3 (Java Edition)

I'm unable to login as the administrator

http://<server>/Users), log in as administrator (username and password are admin)

admin/admin fails

Any idea how to login to "Users" management portal?
ServiceCenter error log indicates that an error occurs the timer could not start, hence the cause of the problem (admin user has not be created yet)

"Access to timerhandler with invalid IP: 10.1.XXX.YYY"
Access to timers is only available to 127.0.0.1.

You have to add an entry in hosts with the servername and 127.0.0.1

Cheers

Do I do this in ServiceCenter or is there a outsystems config file I need to edit ?

It's a system file. It's /etc/hosts

 Its already using localhost

/etc/hosts

127.0.0.1               localhost.localdomain localhost
::1             localhost6.localdomain6 localhost6

you need to add the name of your server in the first line, after localhost

 I add an alias
/etc/hosts

127.0.0.1               localhost.localdomain localhost server1
::1             localhost6.localdomain6 localhost6

This should work but it does not.
Hi Robert,

Did you restart the the outsystems services after doing that change?

Can you access the url http://<server>/Users/_TimerHandler?wsdl and see what url appears at the end? It should match what you need to add to the hosts file.

Ideally the url inside the wsdl should match exactly what is on the request url. But the jboss default configurations don't do that. This was already addressed but I think it was still not released. I'll check if there is a plan release date for this fix.

Edit: Fixed case on the url, since jboss is case sensitive.
