services for solution creation

services for solution creation

Hi,
I would like to know whether there are any public api's available for the activities which are done on service center.
I mean creating, versioning, dowloading a solution. I have to build a automated process for creating solutions and storing them in the version control system.

Your help is much appreciated

Thiru
Hi Thirupathi,

You can check the existing component Download & Deploy that is doing some of the things that you are requesting.

Thanks Paulo for the reply. Sorry, the component you were mentioning supports only .net, I am working on java platform. sorry it my mistake, i have not mentioned it in my earlier post. Please let me know the same exists for java.

Thanks,

Hi Thirupathi,

You should be able to use it with java stack, but you need to change the URL for each webreference.

  • PlatformServices_v8_0_0_Remote
  • http://<remoteserver>/ServiceCenter/PlatformServices_v8_0_0?WSDL

  • Solutions_Local
  • http://<localserver>/ServiceCenter/Solutions?WSDL

  • Solutions_Remote
  • http://<remoteserver>/ServiceCenter/Solutions?WSDL

Please try it.

Regards,
Paulo Garrudo
Thanks alot! I will try it and get back to you for any other queries.

Thanks again,
Thiru
Hi Paulo  Garrudo,
I was trying Application_Get api from the soap UI and the response i see as invalid login. So i am not quite sure what the credentials should be. I have tried with my outystems credentials which i use for service center and studio aslo, i have tried with my linux box credentials where the outsystems is installed.
Is there any documentation around the apis where i can get some knowledge on those?

Your help is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Thiru
These are internal APIs. Not supported and not documented.
Check the API section on help.outsystems.com if you find there what you need.
Hi Thirupathi,

You can check the espace code, there we they are doing an encrypt operation to the password.

Thanks Paulo, I was directly executing the platform services from soap and not looked into the existing component code. Next thing I will try to read the code and understand it better. I will get back to you for any help needed :)

Thanks,
