Static Header when navigation to another page??

Static Header when navigation to another page??

Is there a way to keep a static header and footer when navigating to another page. Im familiar with ajax refresh but not sure how to use it when navigating to another page. Thanks in advance.

If you just want a way to only have 1 copy of a header/footer, make a "Layout" for the "Theme" and define the header/footer in the Layout, and use the Layout for all of your pages.

But, if you are trying to have only the middle part of the page change when the user does something...

... write all of the "pages" as Web Blocks. Then you'd have a single page with a big pile of "If" Widgets to decide which Web Block to display based on what the user is trying to do. I do not recommend this, unless you have a really small application.

You can also use iframes, but I also don't recommend this unless you are really required to.
