How to Integrate Twilio API into Outsystems

How to Integrate Twilio API into Outsystems

Hello,

Does anyone can help me to integrate Twilio Voice API into OUTSYSTEMS?
I am trying to import actions from DLLs but its generating so many Actions, Some are multitime generated.
So, I am not able to understand.
And Also need to know how can i keep the account SID and auth token separate, as a configuration value,

Please help me.
Thanks.

Hi,

Have you checked this component: http://www.outsystems.com/forge/component/428/twilio/
The Twilio component in Forge (http://www.outsystems.com/forge/component/428/twilio/) seems to do what you want.  No reason to build a new extension if this one does what you want or can be extended (current implementation only mentions SMS) if needed.

Hope this helps.
Thanks for your reply.

I am checking this Component.

Hello André Vieira and Curt Raddatz

Thanks for your Quick reply.
I checked that compoment but sample is not working.
can you please let me know where i can pass SId & Key for Twilio.

The information at the link we provided shows how you set those values in Service Center.

To open in browser you need to set a page as entry page. I tried to access you URL and the message returned is "Wrong URL address - this eSpace does not contain a default entry."
Hi Jignesh,

The TwillioCon eSpace module does not have user interface hence you can't open it in the browser. This eSpace module is just a wrapper over the twillio API to make it simpler for you to use. What you need to do is to call the public actions of this module from your application. If you unsure of how to resuse this functionality take a look at this video and also this video, that show how to reuse functionality between modules and how to reuse functionality made in others and available in the Forge.

Cheers
Hi Jignesh,

That component has also a sample application where you can check how it works and also for you to test if your configurations are correct or not.
Just go to http://your-server/TwilioSample

Cheers
