DATEPART on Oracle db

DATEPART on Oracle db

I am getting an invalid Identifier error whenever I try to use DATEPART in an advanced query. Am I supposed to use only Oracle specific queries when It comes to Dates and Timestamps?
Yes.
That's why a Simple Query only does basic SQL commands. What is so simple that any database does it equally.
An advanced query is as writing SQL directly. It goes almost directly to database expanding its possibilities to the maximum. For that, it must respect the SQL language of the server.
Thanks for clarifying.
