There is a known issue with DirectorySearcher where a memory leak is caused if you don't dispose of the objects manually. I found that there are places in the code where this isn't being done. When we do a lot of testing with the LDAP methods, our server gets slower and slower. Once these objects are disposed of properly this isn't a problem.
