JDBC over SSL?

Does OutSystems support JDBC connections over SSL for higher security versus normal JDBC connections?
The OutSystems Platform supports defining the connection to the database based on tnsnames.ora file. Any configuration you can put there supported by Oracle's jdbc thin client driver can be used as long as it's supported by Oracle. This should be transparent to the OutSystems Platform.

We do not test this scenario specifically, but as I said, as long as it is supported by the driver and transparent to applications, you shouldn't have any issue with it.

I have found the following documentation on how to set this up [1]. You'll need support from the Oracle server side as well.

The tnsnames.ora file used by the OutSystems Platform can be found in /etc/outsystems/ .
