Error: not enough space

Error: not enough space

Error message from node serverdev (127.0.0.1): Internal Error

There is not enough space on the disk.

System.IO.IOException: There is not enough space on the disk. ..........

My server has 160 GB of space purely for outsystems.

I manage to truncate the log file using

USE outsystems;
GO
-- Truncate the log by changing the database recovery model to SIMPLE.
ALTER DATABASE outsystems
SET RECOVERY SIMPLE;
GO
-- Shrink the truncated log file to 1 MB.
DBCC SHRINKFILE (outsystems_log, 1);
GO
-- Reset the database recovery model.
ALTER DATABASE outsystems
SET RECOVERY FULL;
GO

and ended up freeing 11 GB of space. But i doubt it will be enough.

does outsystems takes up that much of space or i should be getting more space for my server.

also, does each application kept all versions that i deployed? for example, sometimes, I maybe changing just the font color of a text and I deployed it. so there are a lot of deployed version that has not many changes. Does that increase of the space?

If so, is there a way to delete history deploys, like keep only latest 50 deployed versions

Edit: I check the sql folder on my server and it has 74GB, is this possible?
Hi David,

Outsystems kept all versions that have been deployed and that increase the disk space.

You can delete old versions in Service Center -> Factory -> eSpaces -> Check Old eSpace Versions to Delete.

Then, select a time frame and press Check Versions to Delete button by this way 100 eSpaces version will be deteted.

Hope that helps,

When you said 100 espace version will be deleted do you mean

if application 1 has 300 deployed versions
if application 2 has 80 deployed versions
if application 3 has 105 deployed versions

after the delete, it becomes:

application 1 has 200 latest deployed versions
application 2 has 80 latest  deployed versions
application 3 has 5 latest deployed versions

?
David,

it will delete the 100 oldest, regardless the application.

If older versions were divided by several applications you can stay with:

application 1 has 220 latest deployed versions
application 2 has 60 latest  deployed versions
application 3 has 5 latest deployed versions

If a version is associated to a solution, will not be deleted.

Kind Regards,
Plácido Miranda
