Oracle unique constraint error after adding new record to static entity

Oracle unique constraint error after adding new record to static entity

Hi
I added a new record to my static entity and clicked on publish. I get an Oracle unique constraint violated error when deploying.  The primary key is autonumber, therefore I do expect a key violation.

My app db schema/catalog is separated from the outsystems repository.  This is the only change that I've recently made....could this be the issue

Bilal

Hi Bilal,

Did you publish your app in the main catalog and then changed it to the other one? Also, did you restore the catalog from another environment?

Looks like that the internal IDs of your static entities are incosistent.

Kind regards,
Ivo Gonçalves
Hi Ivo

Yes.  I only changed the catalog and redeployed.  I did not migrate the data.
How do I resolve this ?  Shall I delete all records from the table and try to publish ?

Regards
Bilal

Hello Bilal,

Another thing you could try is to cut the entity you are changing, paste it right back and publish. Keep it mind that after the publish, every other reference to this entity will be broken, so a fix of references must be done after this.
Let us know if this solved your situation :)

Hi Jorge/Ivo

I resolved the issue by deleting the records in the table and re-publishing.  However, I have to do this for all my static entities if I want to add more records.
