BPT: Question re Conditional Start

BPT: Question re Conditional Start

If I have two Conditional Starts from one activity, both started by an Update of a control entity, both by the same StatusId (that happens to live in the entity), but one having no TerminationFailureId (another attribute of the entity), and the other with a TerminationFailureId set, are these Conditional Starts both executed?
If they both are triggered by a database update event, I would assume they would both trigger simultaneously.
Hi Killian,

Generically speaking both Conditional Starts will be created in the listening state waiting for an event as configured.
Conditional Start 1 (w/ StatusId and no TerminationFailureId) will start when an update with the corresponding StatusId occurs, whatever is the value of TerminationFailureId. When this happens a new instance of the Conditional Start activity is created and the process continues it flow, the original instance of the Conditional Start activity continues 'listening'.

Conditional Start 2 (w/ both values set) will start when an update occurs with those values.

So there are situations where the conditional starts are both executed.

Thanks for the explanation!
