JBoss - non default management port (9999)

  
Hello -

Working with a JBoss server where the management port was changed from the default of 9999 to something else. As a result, Lifetime won't install, it is trying to contact JBoss management on port 9999.

Is there a configuration setting we need to change? Or does the management port for JBoss have to be set to 9999?

Why do you need the management port to be changed? Is there any specific reason for this change?

Can you please open a support case with OutSystems so we can further look into this?

One of our clients changed the port without asking us, I do not know their reasons for it. I will open a support case.

For future reference it's possible to define the port used to communicate with JBoss by adding the following line to the end of /etc/outsystems/os.deployment.service.conf
 
JAVA_OPTS="$JAVA_OPTS -DOSJBossDeployerRemotingPort=<NEW_PORT>"
