Hi,

Is it possible to create your own custom theme?

By this I do not mean one that builds upon Vanilla, but rather a completely custom one from scratch using the SilkUI framework.

Regards,
Carl

Hi,

sure you can.
my suggestion use the vanilla and strip anything you don't want/need.
(for example, I "cloned" the Liverpool and changed styff I wanted)

otherwise just create a new espace, create a theme and reference the SilkUiFramkeWork as basetheme

Solution
Hello Carl,

Joop is right, you can use the vanilla theme just as a startup eSpace and remove/change whatever you may need.

However, you always need to have tome webblocks on the layout, and that is the reason why you should always start with the Vanilla. If you create a new eSpace and just reference the SilkUIFramework as a basetheme, you only get the CSS, missing all the webblocks and structure that are inside the layout and that enable the full Silk UI Capabilities.

Best Regards,
Samuel Jesus
