After download and install the install proces freezes

Hi Matthias. Which Service Studio and Service Center versions are you using?

Are you using database catalogs? Because there's a reported issue with these symptoms when using database catalogs.
If that's the case, please try downloading the component and publishing it directly on Service Center.

If that's not possible either (as far as I can see, the Publish Application functionality was removed in 9.0.1), go to the Event System application in Service Center, and check if there's any missing configuration in any eSpace or extension (look for the Operation tab). After configuring everything in Service Center, your installation should complete without problems.
Published it from ServiceCenter and it works now!
