Bug found: Form - no validation for input field type: "Number"

Bug found: Form - no validation for input field type: "Number"

When you set an inputfield type to "Email", and submit the form without a valid email, an error message is returned "Email Expected!"

When you set an inputfield type to "Number", and submit the form without a valid number,  no validation is made, no error message is returned, the expected result should return "Number Expected!" however it does not!
The only thing it does is adding those up-down arrows...

But it does not be visible in IE.
Hi,

I was testing this behavior under my personal, and I was notice that the field is always prepopulated with '0'  (when you there is no default value), if I delete the '0', the validation still kicks in:

In this case, I think the only way is, if '0' is not an acceptable value, we need to add a server side validation, because otherwise the input is correct because is defaulted to '0'.
A corolary of this issue is that if you add a prompt to the input with Number will be ignored because the default '0' is there.

Cheers,
