Outsystems Now Deep Linking - OutSystems

Outsystems Now Deep Linking - OutSystems

Hello.

I'm trying to create my own "Outsystems Now" android app.
I followed the "https://labs.outsystems.net/OutSystemsNowDocs/OutSystemsNowOpenSource.aspx" tutorial.
I got to the part that i have to configure the "Aplication Protocol".
In the sample, its configured as "osnow" at android:scheme.

How can i configure to an app at my personal cloud?

Or, if i have my own server, how can i redirect to it?

Thanks,
Alexandre Reis.
Hi Alexandre,

You can configure the android:scheme with any value you want. We recommend you to choose any value similar or closer to your application name. The value you choose will be used for the deep linking feature.
For example, if you're creating an android app named "MyContactsApp" the application protocol may be something like "mcapp" or "mycontacts".
Please check the documentation here to learn more about how to use this feature.
If you use a deep link with the "osnow" protocol it will open the OutSystems Now app on your device.

Hello.

But, what i want is to "create" an app "Outsystems Now" that opens my app.

At the "https://labs.outsystems.net/OutSystemsNowDocs/OutSystemsNowOpenSource.aspx" tutorial, it explains part of it. Its missing the explanation how i open my app.

Question remains.

Thank You.

Hi Alexandre,

I'm not sure if I'm understanding your question.
Do you want to configure your "Application Protocol" or do you want to configure your custom version of OutSystms Now to automatically points to your OutSystems Environment?

Cheers,
Luís Silva
Hello Luis.

That's it. I want to configure my custom version of Outsystems Now to point to my Outsystems Environment.
How can i do that?

Thanks.
