why is consumption of REST-json datetime adding an hour to it?

what is the cause of having a timestamp:

 "timestamp": "2016-01-18T00:02:00+00:00"
in a REST consumption with datetime 2014-01-01T00:00:00Z (ISO)
will result in a Outsystems DateTime 2016-01-18 01:02:00

Is your server in a UTC+1 timezone?
"2016-01-18T00:02:00+00:00" means it's in UTC, when converted to the platform it is shifted to the server timezone, so in your timezone it is exactly the same date: "2016-01-18T01:02:00+01:00".

yeah, assumed that :(

well, at least I know why, so I can fix it properly on the right point.
