Ajax Refresh in JavaScript

Ajax Refresh in JavaScript

Hi,

Does anyone know how to refresh a container using Javascript?
Solution

Hi Olivia,

Easiest and simple approach is to:
- Implement the ajax refresh using one button.
- Test it on the screen, press the button to see if the ajax refresh is working as expected.
- Hidde the button (.Invisible class)
- Write one javascript function to click the hidden button.

This is a workarround widely used.

Please let me know if you have any questions about this matter.

Hope it helps you!

Daniel Martins.

Hi Daniel,

Can you please demonstrate how to write Javascript function to click hidden link/button?

I want to call one screen action for onchange/onblur event of textbox.

I have written Javascript function as

"<script language='javascript'>

function ClickEvent()
{
    '"+ClickLink.Id+"'.click();
}

</script>"
ClickLink is a link where I have written an action and it should be called whenever there is change in text box .

but it's not getting called

Note: I have written this function on expression.

Please advice.

Thanks and Regards,
Suraj Borade
