SEO Friendly URLs on multiple application pools

SEO Friendly URLs on multiple application pools

Hi,

I followed the documentation and got the SEO working fine on the default app pool (OutsystemsApplications). Now, I need to configure SEO on another app pool (32bits app pool). I created rules for one eSpace in the second AppPool but it gives me the 404 error... Am I missing some configuration?
Is SEO supported on multiple application pools or only in the default one?

Thanks in advance,
JA
Solution
Hi José,

The SEO only works in the Default Application Pool of the Default Website.
So in practice it can only work in a single application pool.

Hi João,

Would the SEO module have any issues with multiple working processes with in the same IIS App Pool?

Thanks,

Not that I know of. Are you having problems?

The apps look like they are working ok but in the windows event log I've multiple entries like:

Site rule id='26' not found, exclusive Path rule id='432' discarded! from OutSystems ISAPI Filter with different ids.

Any idea what might be causing the issue?

That sounds like an inconsistency in the SEO metadata (i.e. bug), maybe you had an eSpace alias in the past that was deleted and the internal SEO DB tables didn't cascade that change. It should be nothing related with multiple WPs in the same app pool.
