Java Script to force a session time out

HI everyone.

I'm using this script to force a session time out: "<script>setTimeout(function(){window.location.href=''},5000);</script>". I insert it on a WebScreen's JavaScript attribute.

The weird this is that is works on some pages and not on others. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Jean-Pierre,

can I ask why are you forcing a session time out using JavaScript? Does the information in this topic helps you somehow?

It is from that topic that I got this script from. From what I read there. That is the only way to get a users screen to change when its been idle for x amount of time. Normal session time out works, but there is always the chance of a wrong commit because of NULL session variables on an expired screen. Like I said this works, but the weird thing is only for one screen.
