Login Page Check User From Database

  

Hi there,  

I have a table user which columns Name and Password and in login screen i  want to check if name and password match values in table.. if succees i can go to other screen, otherwise stay in the login page. How to achieve that? tq

Are you using "User" table from System Espace or you have added a Entity "User" in your application?

I use extension from Oracle Database and use it for entity , tq.


Hi Indra,

1.You can create a blank page(example Homepage)

2.Add a "preparation" action to that you can check for correct Username and Password, if its matching redirect to the correct page

3. If its wrong you can end the preparation action to stay on the page.

Please let me know if you find any difficulties.

tq, i am a new beginner... still do not know where to create query for the matching..and where to save the return value (say it 1 for matching and 0 for unmatching) and how to redirect the page..

I have attached oml file(Login_Example), I have created a entity "UserCredentials", it has a record with 

Name :- admin 

Password :- admin

You can also add your own records to check.

Please let me know if you find any difficulties.
