I'm trying to integrate with facebook using the facebook connector. Part of the setup requires that I get a Developer Key Hash. Facebook provides a command for the command shell:
keytool -exportcert -alias androiddebugkey -keystore %HOMEPATH%\.android\debug.keystore | openssl sha1 -binary | openssl base64
First of all. The app is not in the play store, but Facebook seem ok with this. Second of all this command implies I have a development environment for android on my PC. this I obviously don't have.
Can anyone provide me with some info on where to get a developer key hash for a created application?
The keytool is a key and certificate management utility that comes with Java. You probably have it already. If using Windows, should be somewhere in the Java folder under Program Files.
Thanks for your reply. We are using P10 to generate apps.
Will it still work if that tool is ran on the server creating the apps?
Not sure if I understood your question. What do you mean by "the server creating the apps"?
