List_SortColumn Widget

List_SortColumn Widget

Good Day All,

Is concatenating two columns/attributes in the List_SortColumn_GetOrderBy() allowed for an Aggregate?

For example:

SyntaxEditor Code Snippet

List_SortColumn_GetOrderBy(ClntpfTable.Id, "{Entity}.[firstname] || {Entity}.[lastname]")

We are using Java Stack.

Thank you.

Kind regards,

Christopher

Hi Christopher,

You should create a calculated attribute in the aggregate that combines (concatenates) the two attributes and then use that field in the list sort column.

Joao, I have a similar situation but a bit different.

In my aggregate, I have a number of calculated columns. Some are Groups, others are Count, and others Sum, etc.

BUT, in the RichWidgets\List_SortColumn, I can't figure out the correct "Column" syntax.

It calls for Column in the {<TableName>}.[<ColumnName>] ... BUT, what is the format for calculate columns?

I am using .NET and SQLServer in the cloud.
