Good day,

We are using the Inapp Browser plugin to reference to external URLs on our website.  Some of these are pdf documents.  In iOS this works perfectly fine, however, in Android, the pdf URLs don't render.  All the other pages renders though.  Our platform is in the cloud.

Hey, Esther,

Well, that makes sense: while iOS' Safari opens PDFs natively, Android's browser doesn't (including Chrome).

After looking around, people have found ways around it: either use a file opener to open on the device's PDF viewer, a JS library to open right on the browser (although it might be slower).

None of these are supported, but could solve the problem for you. Let us know how it went!

Hi everyone,

I've tried using this plugin for viewing a PDF file and is trying to prevent the user to download the file. I also tried the in-app browser plugin to view the PDF, however I came across the same problem in Android devices where it cannot render the PDF in the in-app browser. Is there any way available that I can implement to view the PDF and prevent the user from downloading the file in mobile application?
