Hi,

this topic was discussed in this thread. Unfortunately, the key page (I mean: http://labs.outsystems.net/silkui/Responsive.aspx) is no longer available. Does anybody know, where has it been moved to? Or can anybody write explicitly, what should be done?

In my case, it concerns version 10 of OS.

Regards

Tomasz

Hi Tomasz,

Silk UI Website was updated and moved to a new home: silkui.outsystems.com

Regarding technical documentation, you can find it here, on our knowledge base:
https://success.outsystems.com/Documentation/SILK_UI_Framework/05_Understanding_Responsive_and_Adaptive

Let us know if there are any topics you'd like to see covered on the documentation.

Solution

Hi, Dinis,

Thanks. The key section on this site is "Device Simulation" but:

- in OS 10 the module is called "WebPatterns"

- the responsible property is "DisableSimulationDeviceInDev"; I'm not sure what "ForceSimulationDevice" does but it was turned off with simulation still working; it forces simulation in production environments?

Regards

Tomasz

Solution

Yes, for OutSystems 10, with the introduction of Silk UI Mobile - MobilePatterns, the Web version is now WebPatterns.

ForceSimulationDevice is to enable the feature in production.

We have a refactor of the feature in our roadmp, with the possibility to configure and disable it for development, but I'm not able to commit to any time frame yet.
