We have a range slider with two inputs on its placeholders - the values are set correctly but onChange event associated with inputs is not triggered. Slider itself doesn't have onChange event.

Is it possible to run Ajax function when slider value is updated or it is only working with submit button?

Thank you.

Hi Mykola,

Do you have the latest versions of SilkUI Web and of the Template? There were new releases two days ago. And looking at the release changes there was something corrected in the Range Slider in the previous version of the SilkUiWeb.

If you do not have the latest versions, consider updating those applications to the latest versions.

I have tested the Range Slider and it is working well in my applications.

Hi José,

I've just installed SilkUI web component from forge so it is the latest version.

Hi Mykola,

So, maybe I did not understand you correctly...

1. Are you updating the sliders and want to see the values updated?

2. Or are you updating the values in a Screen Action and want to see the sliders move?

3. Or some other thing?

If it's the 2nd then you can:

  • make the Method property of the button to Ajax Submit
  • give a Name to the RangeSlider
  • in the Screen Action change the values of the variables associated with the inputs and
  • after that do an Ajax Refresh on the RangeSlider.

Hey Mykola!

Yes, this is an issue, we're already aware of it and on our way to solve it :)

Sorry for the inconvenience, we'll get a fix out as soon as possible!
