for Android devices the present Outsystems Beacon plugin doesn't ask permission during installation of the app for making use of bluetooth. Default Android doesn't allow bluetooth by default on app-level.     This specific authorization is also never enforced during use of the app on Android. Hence the region exit/enter events will not be fired upon beacon-detection. This works all correctly though on iOS.

Yep I noticed this as well :-) ... So it requires manual setting of the authorization

Just want to let you know that a new version of the plugin has been published on forge (version 2.0.0) and contains a fix for bluetooth usage permission and many other bug fixes.

Give it a try and feedback is appreciated!

Cheers,
