Tip: Disabling Audit logging on your applications

It is not uncommon to include Audit calls during development of an application solely as an aid to the debugging process. Once the application is deployed, however, these Audits are seldom needed and their continual execution not only slows down the systems but needlessly clutters the Hub Edition logs.

Since it is not practical or indeed desirable to scout your eSpace and delete all invocations of this Built-in action, the possibility to selectively turn on and off Auditing on a per-application basis was added to Service Center.

To toggle this form of logging (that is ON by default) go to the desired application page in Service Center and, under the Runtime Options heading, click the icon in front of Auditing: A green check will mean Audit logging is on, while a red cross shows it as disabled.
