Is there any simple way, like the image widget, to insert flash movies in a web page? If not, what´s the best way to do so.
Dear João Matos,

There is no direct equivalent of the Image widget to place Flash content into an eSpace Web Screen. The suggested way to place plugin-related content in your pages is to use an Expression widget, with the Escape Content property set to No. You would then set the expression itself to the content you want expanded inline into your screen.

In the specific case of Flash, you could have an expression similar to

"<object classid='clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000' codebase=',0,0,0' WIDTH='785' HEIGHT='395'>
<PARAM NAME=quality VALUE=high>
<embed src='' quality='high' bgcolor='#FFFFFF' WIDTH='785' HEIGHT='395' type='application/x-shockwave-flash' pluginspage=''>

This assumes your file is at the URL '', and you want to display it with the dimensions (785, 395).

You will probably notice that some of the info is replicated in the snippet above (like quality, bgcolor, movie url etc). This is because different browsers appear to need the information in different places. As an example, Internet Explorer will not load your Flash file if you remove the PARAM tags while Firefox will work perfectly without them...

Hope this helps.
