OneSignal hangs application on Android

OneSignal hangs application on Android

I have tried just about everything I can think of to solve this.  I have followed the tutorial here: https://success.outsystems.com/Documentation/Development_FAQs/How_to_Use_Push_Notifications_with_OneSignal#Configuring_OneSignal

Both methods (after login, at application start event) result in the application hanging.  I have also tried cloning the app with the same result as per this post here:

http://www.outsystems.com/forums/discussion/26454/onesignal-plugin-is-not-loaded/

I have removed all plugins & re-added only OneSignal with the same result.

If I create a brand new application & add OneSignal--it works.  I can't make any sense of this.

Has anyone else encountered this?

I put all my app logic into the new app where OneSignal was working.  OneSignal worked for the first build.  Subsequent builds, the app freezes when OneSignal is invoked.

Are all Cordova plugins this unreliable?

So, after rolling back to the version that worked, it looks like if a Resource (which is a .mp4) is added to the application, OneSignal stops working.  Any ideas why this would be the case?

Solution

I never figured this one out.  I just quit using OneSignal and went to Pushwoosh.

Marking this as closed.  Hope no one else encounters this.
