Excel upload format

Excel upload format

Hello,

I notice from your help facility that Excel files that are being parsed using the 'Excel to Record List' tool must have exactly one row at the top containing header data such as column names.

We have a client who wants us to upload from an Excel spreadsheet that contains 2 rows at the top of each data sheet (one containing section names, the next containing column names) meaning that the data doesn't start until the 3rd row.

Is there any way around this (without asking the client to change their spreadsheet format)?

Thanks,
Keith.
Hi Keith,

there is a simple solution for that, don't now if you can use it or not.

Simply discard de first you have read row (2d row in excel sheet) from the excelrecordlist, iterating it from the position 1 instead of the default 0 position.
