Can't run but can Publish

Can't run but can Publish

Hi there,

A few days ago I created a support case in Outsystems Portal but support team is not following up on the case. Can anyone help me understand the error message?

I'm running 10.0.705.0 and when I run one specific eSpace i get this message:

--------------------

Internal Error

Compilation Error.
TypeFactory.RLTextRecordList.cs(6,66): error CS0426: The type name 'IRLTextRecordListTypeFactory' does not exist in the type 'ssGaps_Core.RssExtensionText'
public class RLTextRecordListTypeFactoryImpl : RssExtensionText.IRLTextRecordListTypeFactory {

State: Second stage compilation

---------------------

Thanks in advance!

Hi Francisco,

The error message says you have a problem in an Extension.
This (extension) is something you created or is something you installed from Forge (I don't recognize the extension).

Also, its a personal or an enterprise environment? (I suspect it is an enterprise, if you opened a ticket with the support).

The message says you are using a type ('IRLTextRecordListTypeFactory'), probably an Interface, that is not available, and this could be a reference problem.

Cheers,
Eduardo Jauch

By any chance, are you using the RSS extension from Forge?

Hi Eduardo,

Yes, it´s an enterprise environment.

I'm not using any RSS extension.

The problem is that, I don't know in what extension the probably is :(

Thanks for your tips!

Hum...

So, you can publish, but got this error?
Can you provide a basic OML where we can see the error happening?
Like, can you reproduce the error?

Cheers,
Eduardo Jauch

I can 1CP, all good with that. The problem is when I try "Run and Debug in the personal area" - It happens every time I run.

I'm can't share the OML here, sorry.

The question is if someone understands the error message.

Thanks!

No problem with that :)

But then, the question is a little bit misleading ;)
The problem is not with the "run" itself (unless you have a problem executing the application in the public area), but when you try to run in the personal area.

I already saw somewhere someone that had a problem with the personal area and deleting the folder in the server resulted. (Always do a backup when messing in the server... rs)

Just a couple more questions.

This happens with ALL applications or just this one? In the Public area the application runs fine?

Cheers,
Eduardo Jauch

I've already tried that (deleting the folder in the server resulted)

It happens only in this one, at least that i know!

Ok.

Sometimes (in rare occasions) this can happen (I saw this happen once here).
A folder/file get corrupted somehow, locked, etc.

But I'm not sure exactly why this happens.
Windows... xD

Hope someone else can answer this question in a proper way. :)

Cheers,
Eduardo Jauch

I got the problem, Support help me. It was really about tmp shared folders.

I've deleted the content of

C:\Program Files\OutSystems\Platform Server\share

and

C:\Program Files\OutSystems\Platform Server\test

Thanks!
