Could not find ServiceCenter at http://localhost

Could not find ServiceCenter at http://localhost

Hello,

I've this error when I try to run the aplication. I try to start the services but the error is the same.

Thanks,
Hi Francisco,

Has the installer completed successfully?
Can you access "Start Menu\All Programs\OutSystems\Start Page"?

If you have all the services turned on you might want to try to redeploy Service Center by:
1 - Opening "Start Menu\All Programs\Accessories\Command Prompt"
2 - Typing C:\>CD "\Program Files\OutSystems\Service Center"
3 - Typing C:\Program Files\OutSystems\Service Center>SCInstall.bat

Cheers,

Hi Tiago,

The installer is complet successfully, and I work with the aplication 2 or 3 days.

Today I don't have access to Start Page.

I see in windows services and all services of outsystems are inicialized and sql express 2 of 4 services are inicialized too (SQL Server Active Directory Helper and SQL Server Browser) this services is not inicialized

I try what you propose but still don't work.
Thanks,
FB
Hi Francisco,

What about the web server?
You can see it in control panel\administrative tools\services, it can be either "XSP Web Server" or the "World Wide Web Publishing" (IIS) service. OutSystems Express Edition installer will use IIS if it is already installed on your computer or it will install XSP Web Server.

Hi Tiago,

I don't see the web server.
But I'll attach one file with all services that I've in my computer.
Thanks,

Hi Francisco,

You can try to reinstall OutSystems Express Edition to see if the problem is fixed?
We've also had some reports about some problems with recent windows updates, and we'll look into it soon.

Hi Tiago,

I re-install de outsystems express edition and the error don't appear more.
Sorry to say that, but this is not a good way to solve the error.

Thanks for you help,
FB
Hi Francisco,

Great! Yes, you are right... From the screenshots you have sent, it seems the Web Server (XSP) was uninstalled somehow.
Let us know if this problem appears again, as we would certainly like to take a deeper look into it.

As an option, remember that you can also use MSFT IIS as a web server.

Hi all,

Everyday now, when i turn on my computer i always get the HTTP Error 404.
After reading this subject, i re-installed the first time it occurred to me.

However it's starting to be awkward always having to re-install...

I have IIS and XSP web server running.

Could you find another solution to this problem?

Best Regards,
Rui
