we changed the ip for our dev/uat/production servers,
1. i have updated the new ip in the service studio environment configuration screen(host name field), i changed for all 3 environments.
2. after that i went to lifetime Infrastructure > Manage Environments to update the ip,
issue is that i am only be able to change for development( dev-prod connection)
when i try to change UAT( uat-prod connection), it says unable to connect.
same for prod(prod->prod connection), this is same ip, prod->prod, still can not connect.
lifetime is trying to connect to old production and old uat ip, where else do i need to update the ip?
but at the same time development looks like updated already...
Hi Linguo,
Did you check the connection between the lifetime server and the other servers? Aren't there any firewall in the middle that is blocking the connections?
Try to see if you can, from the lifetime machine, connect to port 443 (https) or 80 (http) of the other servers.
Cheers,
José
the ports are open, from the traffic log, we can see it is trying to connect to old ip, so i suspend the ip setup for uat and prod is not updated, i am not sure where else to change the setup
Sorry but I have to ask you again...
How did you check that the ports were open?
The foul proof way of doing it is:
Did this two steps worked without any problem?
I have solved the issue by re-publish the lifetime, My guess is that after the ip change in service studio, i need to re-publich the lifetime so that the new ip will take effect.
