how to set timer for 10 minutes?

how to set timer for 10 minutes?

Hi,

Is there any way to execute timer for every 10 minutes.

Hi Gopal,

Its very simple while executing your timer action in the end you can easily update the next run of your timer in the entity Cyclic_Job_Shared having attribute NextRun.

for eg: you can set addminutes(currdatetime(),10).

Hope this helps.

Hello,

You can change that in the service center if this is the default case that you want. There is no need to code.

Kind regards

Hi Manish,

Thank you for your valuable feedback,

Can you please tell me where is NextRun property? How to set it?

I search NextRun in timer property but did't found.

Regards,

Gopal

Solution

Hi Gopal,

I would advice you to go through the below link for complete info:

https://success.outsystems.com/Support/Enterprise_Customers/Maintenance_and_Operations/OutSystems_Platform_Timers_and_Asynchronous_Processes

and i have attached the screen shot of entities in which you will fine the all the properties.

NextRun is not property it is attribute of Cyclic_job_shared entity.

you need to update that column.

Hope this helps.

Solution

Hello,

Service Center - Espace - Timers (tab, inside the espace) - Click on the timer

Example:

Check the "Generate time with intervals of" in your case 10 minutes. Click generate. That's all :)

This timer will run every 10m.

Kind regards

Thank you Manish and miguel,

Both of your answers help  me :)
