I am trying to use the Location PlugIn. I downloaded the module and added to my application. However

keeps returning "false".

What could be going wrong?

I am testing with test in browser emulator.

I added the text below in the extensibility Configuration to no improvement.

        "url": "https://github.com/OutSystems/cordova-plugin-geolocation.git#2.4.1",

            "variables": [{
                "name": "GEOLOCATION_USAGE_DESCRIPTION",
                "value": "Your curent location will be displayed on the map and used for directions."

Hello Paresh.

Some things to take into account:

1. Every time you add or remove a plugin from a Mobile application, you have to recreate the package and install it again in the mobile.

2. Cordova Plugins don't work when you test the app in Chrome (afaik).

3. If you are testing the app in OutSystems Now, only a handfull plugins are available. The others will not work.

I did not know that.

Let me try on the mobile phone and get back.

Hello, Paresh,

Eduardo pretty much nailed it!

For future reference, check out this article for a list of situations that require a new mobile app to be generated (and  consequently installed on user's mobile devices) and this article for a reference on the list of plugins that are (and not) included on OutSystems Now.

Let us know if you need help with anything else!

Best regards,
