Sharing application

How can I export my created application outside outsystems for sharing purpose?

Solution

Hello Anasuya,

What do you mean by "outside outsystems"?

You can save your OML (Export AS) from Service Studio, or if you have more modules in an application and want to save all of it, you can download an OAP ffom your application page in Service Center.

In any case, while you can SEE the code, by default, you will not be able to publish it in any environment outside the infrastructure where it was created.

If it was created in your personal, thats it.
If it is an Enterprise environment, you may be able to export through IPP, if you know the activation code of the environment were you are trying to publish.

If you mean how do you send the application to other people to "install" it outside an OutSystems environment, that's not possible. For Enterprise, you can DETACH the code, but this is a ONE WAY procedure, used when you don't want to use the OutSystems platform anymore. It creates everything you need to run your application as it is, generating .NET or JAVA code.

If this is the case, you may want to talk to OutSystems.

Cheers.
