Image Resize using ImageUtility

Image Resize using ImageUtility

I saw one method "Resize" under ImageUtility (xif)

Where to define resize desired value? If I call this the Result would still be the same binary data.

Use Image Utils Mobile Forge component to resize in javascript, you will save the bandwidth and upload will be faster.

Hi Eric,

Where does that ImageUtility extension come from? If you need image manipulation functionality server-side (like you seem to want), a common choice would be the ImageToolbox forge component based on ImageMagick.

You can also check the Profile Utils forge component that also has an image manipulation extension with a Resize function that allows you to specify max. height and width.

Agree agree that's very good point... but this is the case for already existed image on the database.

And the components you gave cannot work on web?

I thought this ImageUtility comes out of the box from platform no?
