Hi,

I am a newbie to outsystems but as my first project, I have been tasked with showing a calendar that populates events (Service call scheduled events) from a SQL database.

I have been able to pull in my SQL database into outsystems and display and filter it in a table and list.  What I am trying to figure out is how to populate those same events into the FullCalendar2 widget.

The examples I have seen demonstrate JSON and Rest Calls but not loading from an entity that contains my event data.

Excuse my nativity as I work to understand outsystems.

Any assistance or examples would be greatly appreciated

Hi Alex,

First let me welcome you to the world of OutSystems and #LowCode :D

Secondly, have you looked at the Guided Paths in the Training area?

https://www.outsystems.com/learn/paths/2/becoming-a-web-developer/

They're an excellent way to learn how to build web and mobile apps with OutSystems.

Thirdly, in order to display events from the database you'll have to convert them into a JSON format as specified in the documentation of FullCalendar.

https://fullcalendar.io/docs/events-array

Regards,
